First full day of summer

Today, being the first FULL day of summer, I managed to catch 15 fish! 14 of them were Yellow Perch and the other one was this White Perch pictured here.
We used to catch tons of these a few years ago, but in the last couple of years, they have been a little less frequent. This one was pretty healthy looking, though!

Today, I caught a smallmouth bass - totally unexpected, and very exciting!
It's no monster, but a good sign that the harbour is a healthier place than it was - and hopefully, a sign of things to come....

Incidentally, I caught this fish on the exact same kastmaster that I caught the carp AND the sheephead on!

My Monster

I think that this is probably the biggest carp that I've ever caught - I didn't have any way to weigh it, but it was in around the 25-30lb range. That also means that it was probably the biggest fish that I've ever caught. Very exciting!!!

I got this guy on my ultra-light rod and reel, six pound test fishing line, and a Kastmaster lure (see below).
